CRAPO BILL TO PROMOTE BREAST CANCER AWARENESS, EDUCATION AMONG YOUNG WOMEN ADVANCES THROUGH COMMITTEE

WASHINGTON, June 23 -- Sen. Mike Crapo issued the following news release:

Bipartisan legislation led by U.S. Senators Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) and Amy Klobuchar (D-Minnesota) to reauthorize the Breast Cancer Education and Awareness Requires Learning Young (EARLY) Act advanced unanimously through the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee.

The bill would extend the authorization of the EARLY Act through 2031, ensuring continuation of education and awareness efforts focused on breast cancer risks, prevention and early detection among young women.
