Today, in a speech on the House floor, Rep. Joe Courtney (CT-02), honored the life and legacy of Nancy Wyman, the former Connecticut Lieutenant Governor, Democratic State Party Chair, and the first woman to be elected state Comptroller.

Mr. Speaker, I rise today to share with the House the sad news of the loss of one of the state of Connecticut's finest public servants, former Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wineman of Tolland, Connecticut.
