FREEHOLD, N.J., Sept. 14 -- Monmouth County issued the following press release:
The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners has announced that the Monmouth County Office of Mosquito Control will conduct precautionary adult mosquito control operations in sections of Keansburg, Holmdel and Hazlet on Sept. 15, 2026, between 3:00-6:00 a.m. due to the detection of West Nile virus activity in sections of those municipalities.
In Keansburg, the treatment area will be in residential areas north of Port Monmouth Road and the Henry Hudson Trail; east of Waackaack Creek; south of the Raritan Bay; and west of Lawrence Avenue, Twilight Avenue, Shadyside Avenue and Forest Avenue.
