Congressman Jim Costa (CA-21), joined by Congressman David Valadao (CA-22), introduced a bipartisan resolution commemorating the Day of Portugal, Camoes, and the Portuguese Communities and recognizing the contributions of Portuguese Americans across the United States.
Observed annually on June 10, Portugal Day celebrates Portuguese heritage, culture, and the legacy of Luis Vaz de Camoes, one of Portugal's most influential literary figures.
