COPYRIGHT ROYALTY BOARD ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: DETERMINATION OF RATES AND TERMS FOR MAKING AND DISTRIBUTING PHONORECORDS (PHONORECORDS V)

WASHINGTON, July 10 -- Copyright Royalty Board has issued a proposed rule called: Determination of Rates and Terms for Making and Distributing Phonorecords (Phonorecords V).

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on July 10 by Trevor Jefferson, Chief Copyright Royalty Judge.

Summary: The Copyright Royalty Judges are publishing for comment proposed continuation of regulations for rates and terms applicable during the period beginning January 1, 2028, and ending December 31, 2032, for the section 115 statutory license for making and distributing phonorecords of nondramatic musical works.
