WASHINGTON, Sept. 24 -- Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a proposed rule called: Substantial Product Hazard List: Amendments to Requirements for Window Covering Cords.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 24 by Alberta E. Mills, Secretary, Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Summary: To address window covering cord strangulation risks, the Commission proposes to designate certain window coverings a substantial product hazard.
