Today, Congresswoman Norma Torres and the City of Ontario announced a federal spending bill that includes $2 million in Community Project Funding (CPF) and $3.2 million water project through the US Army Corps for Ontario, projects secured by Congresswoman Torres, has been signed into law.
The funding includes:
* $1 million for Vista Verde II Affordable Housing Development, a 150-unit development on Holt Boulevard that will provide a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes, helping address the region's severe housing shortage while supporting family stability and long-term economic security.
