Today, Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia issued the following statement after the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Trump administration in the Temporary Protected Status cases:
"Today, the Supreme Court gave the Trump administration a dangerous green light to strip legal protections from people who cannot safely return home.
"TPS holders followed the rules. They registered with the government, passed background checks, renewed their status, worked legally, paid taxes, and raised their families here.
