Congresswoman Lateefah Simon (D-CA-12) recently secured a $1,092,000 Community Project Funding (CPF) Grant for the City of San Leandro's Shoreline Development Project. The funding will contribute to the ongoing shoreline development project that will transform the San Leandro shoreline into a recreational and community hub for East Bay constituents. The funding will specifically support clean water infrastructure, mitigation for sea level rise and nutrient runoff, and new recreation opportunities for San Leandro and East Bay residents.
