On Thursday, the U.S. House of Representatives will vote on the bipartisan Massie-Khanna War Powers Act (H.Con.Res.38 (https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-concurrent-resolution/38)), directing the President to remove United States Armed Forces from unauthorized hostilities in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Congresswoman McCollum, the Ranking Member of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense, will vote yes on the resolution, ending the President's illegal war, citing the urgent need for Congress to reassert its authority over the power to declare war.
