Congresswoman April McClain Delaney (MD-06) is introducing legislation imminently to prohibit federal law enforcement officers, including U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from deploying to polling stations during future elections.
While it is already unlawful for the military to be deployed to election sites, federal law enforcement - like ICE agents - are not covered.
