Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-34), joined by Mayor David Moreno and officials from the City of Donna, delivered $2 million in Fiscal Year 2026 Community Project Funding he secured for Phase Two construction of the Donna Multi-Purpose Sports Complex. Specifically, the funds will be used to develop the South side of the park with new recreational amenities, including a covered basketball pavilion, playground area, dog park, restrooms, workout stations, and a market walk for community events and vendors.
