Today, the U.S. House passed H.R. 9770, the Continuing Appropriations Act, 2027, to continue federal funding through December 4, 2026. This legislation prevents a September 30, 2026 government shutdown while allowing Congress to continue working on the full-year FY2027 appropriations bills.
"This clean, straightforward continuing resolution keeps the government open, protects our national security, and ensures election-year politics don't jeopardize the funding process," said Congressman Moore.
