Washington, March 3 -- Representative James Moylan issued the following press release:

Congressman James Moylan is co-leading H.R.7593, the Reserve Forces Travel Fairness Act, bipartisan legislation that would require reimbursement for rental car expenses incurred by reservists who travel more than 150 miles from their permanent residence to attend required military training.

For reservists in Guam, attending mandatory training can require long-distance travel and additional transportation costs. Due to Guam's geographic isolation and limited transportation options near certain training locations, service members may have no practical alternative but to rent a vehicle-paying out of pocket simply to report for duty.
