Congressman Nick Langworthy today announced $13,532,819 in federal Airport Improvement Program (AIP) grants from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for critical infrastructure improvements at three airports across New York's 23rd Congressional District.
The grants will support runway and taxiway rehabilitation projects designed to maintain the structural integrity of existing pavement, improve safety and reliability, and extend the useful life of critical airport infrastructure.
