Late Tuesday evening, Congressman Jimmy Patronis (R-FL) advanced the Sunshine Protection Act, legislation that would make daylight saving time permanent nationwide and end the outdated twice yearly practice of changing the clocks.
"Washington has a bad habit of making simple things harder than they need to be," said Congressman Patronis.
