Washington, June 30 -- Congressman Andy Harris issued the following press release:
Today, Congressman Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01), announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded $1,212,586 to Easton Airport in Talbot County through the Airport Improvement Grant program.
The funding will support Phase 5 of a project to extend Runway 4/22 by 900 feet, including runway paving, bringing the airport into compliance with current FAA standards.
