Washington, D.C.-Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-34) announced $9,182,608 in federal fundsforCameron Countytoreconstructapproximately 0.35 miles of Rio Grande Avenueandprovide access to a new public commercial motor vehicle parking facility near the Los Indios Port of Entry.The projectwill includeroughly 305dedicated parking truck spaces. Thisinvestment will also support roadway improvements, driver amenities, security features, an automated weight station, and intelligent parking system technology.
