Today, Congressman Gabe Evans and Congresswoman Kathy Castor's bipartisan Energy Threat Analysis Center (ETAC) Act of 2026 passed the U.S. House of Representatives with broad bipartisan support and now heads to the senate for consideration.
The legislation reauthorizes the Department of Energy's (DoE) Energy Threat Analysis Center (ETAC) within the Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESER), ensuring the Department can continue partnering with industry leaders, utilities, and national laboratories to strengthen America's energy infrastructure against evolving cyber threats.
