On Thursday, July 30, 2026, Congressman Al Green will host a press conference in recognition of the Medicare for All Day of Action and the 61st anniversary of the signing of the Medicare and Medicaid Act into law. Congressman Green will be joined by Texas State Representatives Alma Allen and Ron Reynolds, National Nurses United, and the Texas Organizing Project (TOP). The press conference will take place at Avenue 360 Health and Wellness Southwest Clinic located at 14095 South Main Street, Houston, Texas 77035 at 1:00 p.m. CT.
