WASHINGTON, July 17 -- Commodity Futures Trading Commission has issued a rule called: Margin Requirements for Uncleared Swaps for Swap Dealers and Major Swap Participants.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on July 17 by Robert Sidman, Deputy Secretary of the Commission.

Summary: The Commodity Futures Trading Commission ("Commission") is amending the margin requirements for uncleared swaps applicable to swap dealers and major swap participants that are not subject to the margin rules of a prudential regulator.
