Atlanta, March 2 -- COBB COUNTY has issued a solicitation notice (PE-77050-NONST-2026-000000071) titled ‘Airfield Pavement Maintenance 2026’. Notably, the event starts on Feb. 27 and ends on March 26.
Further, the description states, “This project is associated with the implementation of a variety of pavement maintenance and repair
techniques to extend the useful life of existing airfield pavements at the Cobb County International Airport ¿
McCollum Field (RYY). The proposed improvements generally include, but are not limited to, the following
pavement maintenance techniques: Crack Sealing, Rubber Removal, Seal Coat, Minor Isolated Pavement
Repairs, and Pavement Marking.
