The rule was published in the Federal Register on June 25 by Caren C. Damon, Captain, U. S. Coast Guard, Captain of the Port Detroit.
Summary: The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary special local regulation (SLR) for certain navigable waters of Sandusky Bay in Sandusky, OH. The SLR is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created during a swim event on July 19, 2026.
