WASHINGTON, May 6 -- Coast Guard has issued a rule called: Safety Zones; Recurring Events in Captain of the Port Duluth Zone.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on May 6 by J.P. Botti, Commander, U.S. Coast Guard, Captain of the Port Marine Safety Unit Duluth.
Summary: The Coast Guard will enforce a safety zone for the Superior 4th of July Fireworks Display on July 4, 2026, to provide for the safety of life on navigable waterways during this event.
