COAST GUARD ISSUES RULE: SAFETY ZONES; ANNUAL EVENTS IN THE CAPTAIN OF THE PORT EASTERN GREAT LAKES ZONE

WASHINGTON, July 17 -- Coast Guard has issued a rule called: Safety Zones; Annual Events in the Captain of the Port Eastern Great Lakes Zone.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on July 17 by M.J. Walter, Captain, U.S. Coast Guard, Captain of the Port Sector Eastern Great Lakes.

Summary: The Coast Guard is amending existing regulations relating to safety zones that occur annually in Captain of The Port Zone Eastern Great Lakes. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waters.
