COAST GUARD ISSUES RULE: SAFETY ZONE; LAKE MICHIGAN, MILWAUKEE, WI

WASHINGTON, May 26 -- Coast Guard has issued a rule called: Safety Zone; Lake Michigan, Milwaukee, WI.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on May 26 by Rhianna N. Macon, Captain, U.S. Coast Guard, Captain of the Port Lake Michigan.

Summary: The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for certain waters of the Lake Michigan near Milwaukee, WI. This action is intended to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created by a drone display. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Lake Michigan, or their designated representative.
