WASHINGTON, July 2 -- Coast Guard has issued a rule called: Safety Zone; Isthmus Cove, Santa Catalina Island, CA.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on July 2 by S.L. Crecy, Captain, U.S. Coast Guard, Captain of the Port Los Angeles-Long Beach.
Summary: The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters in Isthmus Cove, Santa Catalina Island, CA on July 3, 2026. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards associated with an overwater fireworks display.
