Brief Summary: Laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) can cause moderate-to-severe postoperative pain from visceral, referred shoulder, and incisional sources. Multimodal analgesia is recommended, but opioids carry significant side effects. Ultrasound-guided interfascial plane blocks offer a safe alternative.
