Brief Summary: Inguinal hernia repair remains one of the most commonly performed surgical procedures worldwide. Tension-free repair with mesh augmentation is the predominant treatment option, either achieved by preperitoneal laparoscopic hernioplasty or Lichtenstein procedure (LP).
