Today, U.S. Senators Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA), Chairman of the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee, and Mark R. Warner (D-VA), a member of the Finance Committee, reintroduced the Ensuring Accurate Payments to Specialty Pharmacies Act. This bipartisan legislation includes specialty and mail-order pharmacies in federal drug acquisition cost surveys, improving the accuracy of prescription drug reimbursement data and rates, and bringing down costs for patients.
