CENTERS FOR MEDICARE & MEDICAID SERVICES ISSUES NOTICE: MEDICARE AND MEDICAID PROGRAMS; APPLICATION FROM THE JOINT COMMISSION FOR CONTINUED CMS APPROVAL OF ITS HOME HEALTH AGENCY (HHA) ACCREDITATION PROGRAM

WASHINGTON, July 10 -- Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has issued a notice called: Medicare and Medicaid Programs; Application From The Joint Commission for Continued CMS Approval of Its Home Health Agency (HHA) Accreditation Program.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on July 10 by Chyana Woodyard, Federal Register Liaison, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Summary: This notice announces our decision to approve The Joint Commission for continued CMS recognition as a national accrediting organization for home health agencies that wish to participate in the Medicare or Medicaid programs.
