U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) delivered a floor speech pushing for the passage of the SAVE America Act, calling on Senate Democrats to stop blocking the bill. The legislation would require proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections.
"The SAVE America Act does not make it harder to vote; it ensures that only American citizens vote in American elections," said Dr. Cassidy.
"Folks are asking for the assurance of a secure election. The SAVE America Act helps get that done," continued Dr. Cassidy.
