U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), chairman of the Senate Republican Policy Committee (RPC), released the below statement following the passage of the Secure America Act, legislation that will fund U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) through the entirety of the Trump administration.
The legislation includes $69.5 billion to fully fund border patrol, ICE, and DHS's efforts to stop illegal immigration, detain criminal adult aliens in sanctuary cities, and investigate child exploitation.
