Today, U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), chairman of the Senate Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies (Labor-HHS) Appropriations Subcommittee, announced Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) allocations from the U.S. Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS), Transportation (DOT), Education (DOE), the Rural Housing Service, and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

These allocations, which were secured through CDS requests made by Senator Capito in Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26), will support rural health care projects throughout the state.
