Today, U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), Chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works (EPW) Committee, announced more than $47 million in funding through the U.S. Department of Transportation's (USDOT) Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) grant program.
This grant funding for the West Virginia Department of Transportation (WVDOT) includes $23 million for the Corridor H - Waites Run to Virginia State Line Project, which would support the completion of construction work along 3.7 miles of the Corridor H expressway from Waites Run to the Virginia state line.
