Today, U.S. Senators Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) and Jim Justice (R-W.Va.) introduced legislation that would provide families with enrollment information to establish Trump Accounts (https://www.capito.senate.gov/trump-accounts) for eligible newborns while still at the hospital. Specifically, the bill would amend the Social Security Administration's (SSA) Enumeration at Birth (EAB) program to provide for the creation of a Trump Account when a child's birth is registered, streamlining enrollment and increasing access the program.
