Orlando, Florida -James Hjelmeland (30, Canada) has been sentenced by U.S. District JudgeCarlos Mendoza to17 years and 6 months in federal prison forattempted enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity, distributing, transporting, and possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM).Hjelmeland pleaded guilty onNovember 25, 2025.
