KEARNEY, Neb., April 1 -- The University of Nebraska Kearney issued the following news release:
Take a look inside the Fine Arts Building, where students create and perform.
Opened in 1970, the building is home to the Department of Music, which offers instruction in instrumental and musical performance and music education. Students may also join a number of music ensembles that perform in the Fine Arts Recital Hall, in the community and even on tour.
The Department of Art and Design is located in another wing of the building, added in 1979. In the art wing, Lopers take classes in painting, drawing, graphic design, glassblowing, printmaking, ceramics, photography, art history and art education. Some of their creations may even be selected...
