EL PASO, Texas, June 30 -- The University of Texas at El Paso issued the following news release:

Effective Tuesday, June 30, the Miner Metro Shuttle's Campus Loop (Green) Route will be suspended and replaced by the East (Blue) Route due to ongoing campus construction impacts.

The route modification is intended to maintain shuttle access while a temporary closure of a portion of Glory Road affects normal traffic routes. It will also provide new shuttle stops along Schuster Avenue.

What's Changing

The new East Route will make the following six stops, which are included on the map below:

The new route will reduce walking distances for riders accessing the Miner Heights and Prospect areas.
