Sacramento, CA -Today, the California Legislature passed the Home Energy Choice Act (AB 2313), authored by Assemblymember Marc Berman (D-Menlo Park). This popular, commonsense legislation will offer California homeowners the choice and the support needed to electrify their homes.
When a gas service line (the pipe connecting a home to the gas main line) is due for replacement, utilities will offer a voluntary incentive to electrify instead.
