CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE FILES CHARGE AGAINST KINGS COUNTY JUDGE

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Sept. 15 -- The California Attorney General issued the following press release:

KINGS COUNTY- California Attorney General Bontatoday announced a charge filed against Kings CountySuperior Court JudgeKendra Weber. Aftera thoroughinvestigation, the California Department of Justice charged Weber with one misdemeanor count of Penal Code section 192, subdivision (c)(2), vehicular manslaughterwithout gross negligence. The complaint was filed in the Kings County Superior Court andalleges that inSeptember 2025, Weber, while drivinga vehicle, fatallystruck a bicyclist.

It is important to note that criminal charges are only allegations against a person. Every defendant is presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty.
