BUREAU OF ALCOHOL, TOBACCO, FIREARMS, AND EXPLOSIVES ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: FIREARM ACTIVITIES IN FOREIGN TRADE ZONES, CUSTOMS-BONDED WAREHOUSES

WASHINGTON, May 8 -- Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives has issued a proposed rule called: Firearm Activities in Foreign Trade Zones, Customs-Bonded Warehouses.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on May 8 by Robert Cekada, Director.

Summary: The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives ("ATF") proposes amending the definition of "importation" in the implementing regulations for the Gun Control Act ("GCA") and the National Firearms Act ("NFA").
