This morning, the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee passed H.R. 8870, the BUILD America 250 Act with Rep. Vince Fong's (CA-20) support.
The BUILD America 250 Act is a five-year surface transportation reauthorization bill that invests in American roads, bridges, rail transportation, and infrastructure. It prioritizes safety, efficiency, and innovation, including the first-ever federal framework for self-driving commercial vehicles, championed by Rep. Fong.
