U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) joined 9 Senators in a letter urging Energy Secretary Chris Wright to reverse course on his pledge to double liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports as Americans face rapidly rising home heating costs.

The letter, led by Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), was joined by Senators Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Edward Markey (D-Mass.), Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.), Jack Reed (D-R.I.), Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.), Peter Welch (D-Vt.), Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) and Cory Booker (D-N.J.).
