Representatives Don Beyer (VA-08), Diana DeGette (CO-01), and Doris Matsui (CA-07) released the following statement after the Government Accountability Office (GAO) issued a legal determination confirming the administration illegally impounded $78 million in Fiscal Year 2025 funding for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). The decision comes more than a year after Reps. Beyer, DeGette, and Matsui sent the initial request for a nonpartisan legal opinion on the matter.
