UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., Sept. 21 -- Pennsylvania State University issued the following news release:
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State Berkey Creamery will kick off Homecoming Week with the launch of Throwback Scoops, a new program that will take customers on a trip down memory lane by bringing back retired flavors that helped pave the way.
The first flavor to make a return to the scooping lineup is "Golden Chocolate Pecan." This flavor was last offered in 2017 and will make a return to the University Park campus beginning Sept. 21.
Golden Chocolate Pecan is chocolate ice cream with pecan halves and salty caramel swirl. The flavor will be available in the Creamery only, in cones or bowls, for as long as supplies last.
