ORONO, Maine, Aug. 28 -- University of Maine issued the following news release:
WABI-TV and Fox Bangor featured the University of Maine welcoming more than 2,000 members of the Class of 2030 to campus for the Maine Hello move-in day and the start of Black Bear Bridge Week. Faculty, staff and about 400 student volunteers helped new students move into their residence halls as UMaine introduced incoming students to campus life and the university community. "What I expect fully from the Class of 2030 is that they become really engaged, that they become a part of our community here at UMaine," said UMaine President Joan Ferrini-Mundy.
