Today, U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) announced she helped secure $20 million for infrastructure updates at the Port of Manitowoc through the Baldwin-backed Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and annual funding legislation. The project upgrades the port so it can handle grain shipments more efficiently, increasing storage space, updating equipment, and expanding rail connections to make transportation faster and smoother. Senator Baldwin also advocated for Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy to fund this project.
