WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) is pressing the Department of Defense on another delay to their PFAS investigation and cleanup timelines by as much as 20 years at 178 sites across the United States, including at Truax Field and Volk Field in Wisconsin.
"I have worked for years to hold the Department accountable on PFAS through added federal funding for military PFAS cleanup and for replacing PFAS-based firefighting foam.
