WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) and her colleagues are demanding Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin immediately halt the Department's efforts to assert federal control over and undermine public trust in the upcoming 2026 midterm elections.
Specifically, the Senators raised concerns about Mullin's refusal to publicly affirm that the Department will not send ICE or CBP agents to polling places and his unsupported claim that 250,000 noncitizens were registered to vote in four states.
